HC 2000 / 5000 / 8000 Benchtop

HC 2000 / 5000 / 8000 Benchtop

How It Works

The HC pneumatic homogenisers combine high flow with high-pressure, fixed-geometry homogeniser modules that impart high shear rates to product formulations. As every milliliter of your product experiences the same processing, the results include uniform particle and droplet size reduction, deagglomeration and high-yield cell disruption.

Recommended Uses

The HC series of lab homogenizers is recommended for:

  • Emulsions
  • Particle Dispersions
  • Liposomes
  • Cell Disruption
  • Pharmaceuticals
  • Cosmetics
  • Food and Beverage Products

Unique Benefits

The HC portable benchtop laboratory homogenizers:

  • Operate at pressures to 2,000 psi (HC-2000), 5,000 psi (HC-5000), 8,000 psi (HC-8000)
  • Handle sample sizes of 100 ml (HC-2000/HC-5000) or 250 ml (HC-8000) to continuous processing up to 120 liter/hour
  • Contain a unique, wear-resistant homogeniser module — no moving parts
  • Feature a durable plunger seal that offers a wide compatibility range and extended seal life
  • Are air driven and explosion-proof
  • Produce a maximum process steam temperature of 165˚F (75˚C)
