From beginners to high-end users, the measurement program that anyone can use

With over fifty years of experience in spectroscopy and using the most advanced technology, JASCO offers the best solutions for micro-RAMAN analysis with a complete range of micro-RAMAN systems.

The measurement program that anyone can use

Raman spectroscopy is capable of measuring impossible small site in the infrared microscope. Raman spectroscopy with such features is becoming popular as a general-purpose analytical instruments, but micro-Raman spectrophotometer traditional took skill optimization of measurement conditions and optical adjustment, and data analysis.

All NRS Series Raman instruments include a color CCD sample viewing system with image capture capability. Utilizing the same basic optical system, JASCO designed a family of micro-Raman spectrometers that offer a range of capabilities from simple, single laser, single grating instruments to advanced research grade systems with low wave number measurement, wavelength extension from the deep UV to NIR, and the ability to use or add up to six lasers.

From beginners …

JASCO has developed a micro-Raman NRS-4500 with enhanced maintainability. The system offers space-saving, automated switching laser light source and alignment adjustment to assist the analysis, NRS-4500 is easily used to quality control as well as research and development.

The NRS-4500 is equipped with measurement assist function that can be easily setup operation and a user advice function that automatically analyzes the spectrum and obtain a high-quality data even at the first time.

The automatic XYZ stage is equipped with a sample search function. Using a newly developed algorithm (patent pending) the microscope image, sample search function has used to set the measurement position automatically and gives you data from the location that is automatically registered with the click of a button measurement.

… to high-end users

For high-end users and when the maximum performance and functions are expected on a micro-Raman spectrometer, the NRS-5000/7000 series Raman systems are the answers. Assuring consistent performance for rapid acquisition of high quality data with automated system control and minimal optical adjustments.

For application expansion, an automated multi-grating turret, 2 internally mounted detectors and a maximum of 8 lasers ranging from the UV through the NIR are capable of integration with the instrument system, all optical components are PC controlled for maximum flexibility with minimum user interaction.

QRI (Quick Raman Imaging) is our new technology that consists of High speed/high accurate stage and high speed data process in CCD detector. QRI makes it possible wide area imaging in quick as few seconds for several thousand measurement, and can cover various size of samples from mm order to sub-micron order.

SPRIntS (Software Programmable Raman Integration Speed) is a laser scanning function which supports high speed measurements by scanning the laser excitation beam using individual scan mirrors (VertiScan) to irradiate the sample while collecting data from a high-speed CCD detector at a minimum of every 5 milliseconds. The VertiScan function also supports a 3-D imaging function by utilizing the Z-autostage and the confocal capability of the instrument system. The VertiScan system is unlike other laser scanning functions because the sample is illuminated with a vertical laser beam ever y time to retain measurement confocality and obtain a high quality, undistorted Raman image.
